Maybe we should sue the colleges
I was just thinking.
During the Clinton years, a bunch of college educated congressmen, the college educated president, and with lobbying by some college educated leftist bankers thought it would be a good idea to give expensive house loans to people who couldn't afford them.
During the Bush years, a bunch of college educated republican and democratic congressmen did nothing about the subprime loans that caused the crisis. Bush, who went to the same university as obama, did nothing about the issue. A number of college educated speculators got into the market with subprime loans and were able to help create the housing bubble. Also a bunch of college educated businessmen and CEOs thought it'd be a good idea to trade and insure toxic assets to the point if one bank or insurer failed, all might.
One month or so into his administration, a college educated Obama and a college educated congress thought it'd be a really good idea to waste a trillion tax payer dollars which have done squat for the economy (catepillar just laid off 2,400 people which according to obama wasn't supposed to happen).
Obviously the colleges and universities have completely failed the US and we probably need to get rid of them and let a better group replace them. I mean with all these college educated people running the banks, insurers, and congress, all we have ended up with is over 2 trillion dollars in bailouts, which is probably going to take generations to pay off at this rate.

cool story bro.
Placing the blame on colleges is absurd; the congressmen made the choices, they are at fault.
more regulation plz. also, bailouts are nothing new; however these bailouts aren't exactly as responsible as they should have been.

Yikes this is going downhill fast.
I don't blame the colleges, it started before that: it's the fact that they were born from their mothers. Sue mothers.

Typical american thinking to be honest. Something is wrong, therefore someone made a mistake, therefore we should sue. And then you wonder why the rest of the world laughs.

Lol at least the original poster sounded smart, now a bunch of people are going whining about it being stupid. In my opinion the real problem are democrats in general, Clinton messed it up, now obamas teleprompter is telling him to say dumb things, and he is doing them. Canada may suck, but it'll be better than here if Obama doesn't get impeached.... /move

Very stereotypical conservative of you. Doesn't mean I'm disagreeing with you though. I think both political parties are idiots. Doesn't mean I'm a crackpot third party following idiot either. I don't believe in anarchy, nor do I believe in government, "what?" you may ask, simply this: government will never work with people being stupid asses who think they know better than everyone else and don't follow laws, support their countries, which is a very ignorant liberal trait (not to say the conservatives aren't ignorant as well). And anarchy wont work because of: people being stupid asses who think they know better than everyone else and will end up shooting/nuking/stabbing/fugging everyone and every thing.
at OP, i hope you were being sarcastic, blaming a educational institution for this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard, every person walks away from a educational course with something different, and that something different is defined by how much they actually care to pay attention and take something away from it.
